If you aren't familiar with the Bulu Box, here is a short summary from their website -
"Bulu Box is the first health, nutrition and weight loss discovery box designed to help you feel your best. Each custom box comes filled with a new mix of 4 to 5 premium samples from top brands to try. Every sample is sufficient enough to decide if the product is right for you." Sounds awesome, right?!
My Bulu Box quickly arrived at my door just a few days after it shipped; I couldn't wait to open it and see what goodies I got!
I was most excited to try the MOVIT Energy Gummies. I recently saw another runner with them and had been itching to try them. After reviewing the package I didn't see anyplace that said it was gluten free, but did a quick search online and found the following on the MOVIT Energy Gummies Facebook page - "Scientifically engineered gummies made to minimize fatigue and improve physical and mental athletic performance. Available in two great tasting flavors; Berry and Citrus. Only 60 calories per bag, GLUTEN FREE, small, compact, take anywhere nutrition." Double score! I get to try them and they are gluten free! (Even though I haven't received the "formal" diagnosis of Celiacs there is still a high suspicion from my doctors that this is what is causing many of my issues and I'm going to be sent for some additional more in-depth testing soon. In the meantime, I try to eat gluten free as much as possible, though I do have some in my diet still. I received the Citrus flavor and love tha the gummies have little smiley faces on them; I love food that smiles back at me. The package had about 11 gummies in it which allowed me to have a few while sitting around the house just to "test" them on my tummy and still have enough for my run on Saturday.
Next up is a nice little jar of anti-itch cream; I haven't had the opportunity to test this out yet, but will share as soon as I do! The jar is definitely big enough to use several times so you can establish how well it works, any potential allergic reaction, etc. before committing to buying a whole jar.
There was also a dietary supplement sample in the box, which is a mixture of Green Coffee Bean, African Mango, Acai, and Resveratrol. The packet contains two capsules which is the recommended daily intake amount, so, it will be enough to see if it's easy on your digestion but you may not be able to gauge the full impact you would receive from taking it on an ongoing basis. And, a ginger-citrus guayusa teabag from Runa Tea; yum!!
There was also a fairly large bag of lemon pepper chicken jerky in the box. I don't eat meat/chicken personally, but my friend is definitely going to enjoy this!
There is a card in each box that shows a summary of the products contained in the box and includes a short description of the products along with pricing information. Overall, I was happy with the contents of my box. I can use most of the items that were included with no issues and it gave me the opportunity to try things without having to individually purchase the full product and risk wasting the rest of it if I can't use it or don't like it.
If this sounds like something you want to try (it does; you know it does!) Bulu Box (along with the lovely ladies of Fit Approach) is offering 50% off your first 3-month subscription. Hmm the lemon pepper chicken jerky sounds interesting! I love how each Bulu Box is so different. I had the Movit gummies in mine, but that's the only product we had in common!
